A herbaceous perennial bush, growing to 1.5 m
The terminal flower stem has a whorl of purple double lipped flowers with delicate purple protruding stamens, hence the common name Cats Whiskers.
Likes full sun to partial shade, needs to be kept well watered to give of it's best.
As well as being a great butterfly nectar plant, it is a great plant for the Native bees and European honey bee's
